The envelope please. The Subscription Trade Association (SUBTA) this evening announced its first-ever Cube Award winners. Honorees were announced as part of a special awards ceremony at the Subscription Summit, taking place at Sheraton Austin Hotel at the Capitol.
The 2017 Cube Award categories and honorees are:
- BEST OVERALL: Loot Crate
- BEST BOX DESIGN: Loot Crate
- BEST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE: Winc
- BEST SOCIAL CAMPAIGN: Kiwi Crate
- ARTISAN/CRAFT BOX: GlobeIn
- FOOD BOX: Blue Apron
- KID’S BOX: Bitsbox
- MEN’S BOX: Battlbox
- PETS BOX: KitNipBox
- WOMEN’S BOX: PopSugar Must Have
- PEOPLE’S CHOICE: FabFitFun
SUBTA, which was launched at the Summit, is a network that helps grow subscription businesses through their focus on networking, professional development, customer experience, profitable growth while fostering a socially conscious subscription box industry.

The Subscription Trade Association (SUBTA) issued a call for entries that concluded in mid- nominations May, inviting award in 10 categories. Nominees were judged by a panel of highly respected industry leaders, analysts and consultants focusing on innovation, executional excellence and customer experience. The People’s Choice was administered with My Subscription Addiction members.
